Care & Tips: - Rinse or wash can well by hand; do not put in the dishwasher. - For best results, do not wash the filter. Each filter should last 3-6 months depending on usage. - Empty regularly for best results (2-3 times per week) and rinse with your water hose when you empty it. - When buying replacement charcoal filters, it is better to choose a bigger size and cut to desired diameter than to buy a too small size. - Use the filter in the lid to keep any eggs that hatch from fruit peels from getting out of the compost can.
